Change Challenge to Capability (Triple C)

Thanks to this initiative, young wheelchair users below 16 years of age are able to participate more fully in an active and positive life that permits access to educational as well as economic opportunities. The Alhassan Foundation provides 40 customised wheelchairs to improve the mobility of young people with disabilities. Alongside, 20 schools and youth centres are being upgraded to become accessible public spaces, enabling 90 disabled youth to engage in sports competitions and arts workshops. In addition, awareness campaigns address social stigma and facilitate the young people’s integration in society.
