The project identifies the needs of care leavers in and around Leipzig. To this end, the partner sets up a Collective Impact Initiative in which several regional actors work together. Based on the identified needs, they develop support and networking services on a pilot basis that facilitate care leavers’ transition to independent living. A variety of actors are involved, thus ensuring that a broad range of challenges faced by care leavers is addressed (housing, social affairs, school, work, etc.), as well as promoting the targeting of synergies. Individual offers of support are tested and further elaborated in a future project.
