Culture workshops – A creative start to life

The project partner has played a very prominent role in the socio-cultural scene of Thuringia for many years. The new, low-threshold culture workshops provide young people aged between 10-25 years with easy access to artistic work. Each year, this project will enable 80 young people to learn about art as a personal form of expression. The workshops cover a wide range of artistic disciplines, especially in the areas of media, visual arts, dance theatre, circus arts, music and literature.
The participants acquire basic artistic skills in dialogue with the professional workshop leaders and in the process learn a form of self-reflection that promotes their individual competencies and contributes towards the development of their personality. Throughout the course of one year, the participants produce creative exhibitions that they ultimately present to a wide audience.
In addition to the project work, Drosos Foundation will help the association develop its organisational structure in order to secure long-term funding for further educational activities after the conclusion of the project.
