Differently Able

“Differently Able” introduces a model of enhanced economic empowerment for youth with disability. Firstly, by establishing an entrepreneurial inclusive ‘hub’ that enables an integrated approach that consolidates, harmonises and institutionalises the tools, methods and frameworks used by the various actors and stakeholders in the sector.

Secondly, the project is establishing a community-based social business that provides on-the-job training and employment opportunities for youth with disabilities. Both of the above-mentioned interventions will test various socioeconomic practices for possible replication in other localities, in addition to empowering the youth towards social and economic well-being. To help them start their own businesses, entrepreneurs and talented youth will be supported financially through grants.
