Fit 4 More 2.0

Women with a refugee or migrant background are twice as likely to be unemployed or unemployable in Switzerland as Swiss women. With almost 20 years of experience in work integration, the Crescenda association empowers these women to find their place in the labour market according to their potential and with a high degree of self-determination in the long term. In addition to a start-up course for micro-enterprises, the association offers vocational training in the areas of gastronomy, nursing and housekeeping. By establishing the women’s cooperative flexifeen, Crescenda has done successful pioneering work in recent years. Fit4More 2.0 (follow-up project to Fit4More) professionalises the start-up courses and vocational training. In addition, it places a special focus on the dissemination of the cooperative model: on the one hand, the already launched cooperative flexifeen is multiplied at new locations, and on the other hand, Crescenda provides a knowledge transfer in the development of women’s cooperatives in order to further disseminate this promising approach in Switzerland.
