Circo Futuro

Circo Futuro from the Zirkus Lollypop team in the Canton of Grisons is a circus-pedagogical programme for young people. It comprises weekly circus training in Chur and Alvaneu for 50 participants per year. On the basis of this training, especially motivated young people assisted by qualified circus educators together develop a production that is performed both in Grisons and in various locations in Switzerland.
The target group are adolescents and young adults (between 12-25 years of age) who have difficulty accessing cultural education and open circus training, whether due to their psychological and social limitations, migrant background or rural place of residence. Through these circus and theatre-related activities, the interests and abilities of the young people are encouraged and reinforced, and their self-confidence is boosted through a resource-oriented and creative programme.
Thanks to targeted organisational development, Circo Futuro is helping to strengthen the Zirkus Lollypop organisation on a sustained basis. The project envisages an expansion of the circus training to other valleys in the Grisons region.
