The successful project «Heldenmacher in schools» is to be continued! The goal of Hero Society is to awake the creative potential of young people and reveal their talents. The social enterprise offers courses in expressions of youth culture, such as street dance, graffiti, artistry, music and film. As part of weekly courses, project days, youth camps and in career orientation programmes, young people learn to express themselves and increase their self-efficacy.
With school closures and social distancing rules, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a massive impact on the social enterprise which had previously been highly successful. This follow-up project enables the Hero Society to take a new strategic direction and resume its activities. Almost 4,000 children and youths are reached through the establishment of a wide-ranging portfolio for young people in the post-corona period, thereby helping them develop their potential. In doing so, the project secures the economic sustainability of the social enterprise and enables the long-term continuation of the programmes.
