Job creation through support for local enterprise

40 small and medium-sized companies that process agricultural products will be given concentrated advice and access to finance to help them expand and grow. In addition, support is being provided for 10 innovative companies and start-ups to implement new business ideas.
The 50 supported enterprises will create 120 new jobs. Young jobseekers will receive intensive support and assistance before, during and after starting work, enabling them to expand their social and professional skills and gain self-confidence. An online platform puts them in touch with the enterprises which are receiving support.
The project promotes entrepreneurship in the region through awareness-raising activities and close cooperation with authorities and stakeholders. Local service providers receive basic and further training so they can offer expert advice on entrepreneurship once the project has ended.
