Children of Embabah and Bashteel

Embabah and Bashteel are two adjacent slum communities in Giza governorate with limited availability of social and recreational facilities for children. The purpose of this project is to give children in these two neighbourhoods access to a variety of creative, cultural and recreational activities. Children will be involved in a journey focusing on strengthening individual self-worth, social skills and their role and contribution to society. Together with the implementing local partner, intensive capacity building, technical assistance and coaching is organised for two local organisations to enable them to independently manage local creative spaces for children well beyond the project’s timeframe.
