Kinetic Energy Alive – The Independent Dance Space

Studio 8 builds a platform for local talented dancers in the country, to improve their artistic presentation skills, through practical training, capacity building and research in the field of dance. Studio 8’s creative approach in designing choreography, which includes elements from the local heritage, gives their work a strong local identity, preserving the cultural heritage through dance. Through education and collaboration, dancers will have better career opportunities and the prospect of doing what they love in their own country, while passing on their knowledge to the community and contributing to the development of local dance. Individuals interested in dance have the opportunity to access the space and benefit from its services. Up to 800 people are exposed to and experience modern dance as an art for the first time.
