Young people in front of and behind the camera to create an inclusive society

The aim of this project is to develop the creative skills of young people through filmmaking with a focus on the subject of living with disabilities.

600 young people from the Rabat-Kénitra region will get the chance to develop both their professional and personal skills. In addition to this, discussion groups will be set up to explore the subject of living with disabilities and 24 very short films will be produced and shown at the annual Handifilm festival in order to make young people more mindful and aware of this issue. 800 young people from other regions will participate in the film tours in order to generate public debates on the values of respect and social inclusion regarding people with disabilities, and in this way, change their perception of what living with a disability actually means.

By hosting panel discussions and creating a think-tank, civil society and public institutions will be made aware of the importance of promoting creative activities among young people as a means of social liberation and empowerment.
