L’Incubatrice

The project L’Incubatrice contributes to the socio-economic empowerment and independence of 162 women and young girls from the working class neighbourhoods of the rural province of Larache in northern Morocco, in order to increase their quality of life and that of their families. To this end, the Fédération de la Ligue du Droit des Femmes (FDLF) is developing, with the technical support of the international NGO Quartier Du Monde (QDM), a space called “L’Incubatrice” offering a global and multidisciplinary support (social, psychological and economic) and working on training schemes, approaches to women’s rights, professional integration and entrepreneurship. This space will therefore also be used to develop micro-projects carried out by women in the working-class neighbourhoods of the city of Larache. The project’s actions also aim to raise awareness among the province’s private, public and associative actors, to promote governance based on gender parity and to deconstruct stereotypes, thus restoring the place of women in the province’s social development.
