Masar Taalom

More than 650 disadvantaged children from three districts of Tangier are participating in weekly creativity workshops. The children develop essential life skills with the aid of audiovisual tools and by taking part in role play activities, group reading and a variety of events. Their families participate in monthly workshops about teaching and learning that promote family participation in the education process. Others who work in education in the districts, such as teachers, are invited to join the dialogue in a series of joint workshops.
The Tamkeen project encourages communities to take responsibility for their own development, and facilitates personal development and improved care of individuals in a collective context.
