Méta Nautique

Méta Nautique is a pilot project aiming to improve the living conditions of 40 young people in highly vulnerable situations (mainly ex-prisoners) by supporting them in their socio-economic reintegration. The innovative idea of this pilot project is to make the best use of water resources (mainly the seashore) by allowing young people after their detention to develop sports activities related to the aquatic world, such as seaside running, kayaking, stand-up paddling, swimming, beach volleyball, beach soccer, or yoga on the beach.
The project proposes a multidisciplinary approach combining rehabilitation and socio-economic reintegration activities to help young people succeed in their integration into society and the workplace. After a period of training, the young people will be supported in developing an economic model for their income-generating activities linked to water sports activities in order to ensure their financial autonomy.
