Online freelancing modules as a sustainable income stream

Finding a job through usual channels to access the formal local job market is challenging in Palestine. Online Freelancing not only opens up the opportunity to address the world market needs, but also provides a vast variety of online channels to penetrate those global markets. 100 skilled young people with a laptop and moderate internet access will be assisted by the partner and its mentors in delivering services to international clients in the areas of design, translation, programming, writing and many other areas.
Five groups among the 100 professionals will be selected to come together and form start-up Online Freelancing companies. These companies will receive long-term business and technical mentorship on: positioning, bidding, operational and quality assurance set-up, team management, entrepreneurship, financial management, costing and pricing until they are able to sign and deliver contracts according to internationally accepted standards.
