The project is developing needs-based support for care leavers in the Kyffhäuser district, a peripheral district in Thuringia, as they transition into working life. Through the use of coaches, 30 care leavers per year receive support during the transition process to independent living with a focus on educational or professional development. The project focuses on the transition into training or entering a professional activity. The impact these coaches have on the transition is systematically documented.
