Qisas (stories and narratives in Arabic) is an online multimedia platform dedicated to teenagers in Tangier. It is a tool used to empower teenagers and help them improve their speaking, exchanging and debating skills.
By exploring both the old techniques for imagery, such as film photography, and the new ones, such as social networks, 300 teenagers go on a journey through the world of cinema from writing to directing and filming media. They will attend writing and directing workshops to learn the art of filmmaking and produce their own short film using both digital and analogue technology.
The project also provides two training sessions on the analysis of films and animation of film screenings for representatives and supervisors from district associations so that they may conduct, schedule and animate film screenings themselves.
