After the successful implementation of a first project titled “Cinematic and Filmmaking Experiences as forms of Expression”, which engaged children and youth in film-making with the aim of strengthening their life skills, the partner will now develop a long-term strategy for its training and film-maker support department(s).
With the assistance of a team of consultants, the project will empower the partner and its teams in the strategic development of a training and support plan. This will be in line with the requirements of the local film industry and local film-makers (encompassing both cinema and TV) as well as the needs of the community outside of the capital of Amman. It will enable the teams to reflect on their strengths and weaknesses and define ways forward to strengthen and consolidate the department’s position as a relevant as well as resilient and sustainable stakeholder of civil society.
