Rooftop Farming II

Rooftop Farming phase two aims to improve the economic and social conditions of 650 households in four neighborhoods of Helwan district in South Cairo via growing vegetables using limited resources and smart farming techniques. 150 rooftop gardens and 500 terrace gardens are established with 3’250 individuals benefiting from them. The households can do savings and/or increase their income stemming from domestic consumption and/ or selling of produce.
