Schools – Little islands of creativity and culture

This project is being rolled out in state schools within disadvantaged districts in Tunis and in neglected governorates in Tunisia, with the aim of stimulating children’s interest in knowledge and culture. Through active reading as well as artistic and creative activities, the project encourages young children aged between six and 16 to become more thoughtful, engaged, inquisitive and open towards others and the world. The resulting personal development and intellectual stimulation are essential and often prevent them from leaving school prematurely.
