Securing the long-term sustainability of the circus school

This project builds on the previous support provided to the Palestinian Circus School between 2010 and 2017. The initial project aimed to use circus arts to improve young people’s life skills. Drosos Foundation’s support enabled the school to be transformed from a volunteer-based organisation into Palestine’s leading circus school and the only local circus that employs professional circus trainers and artists, and invests in their professional development.
Through circus training and performances, the new project also aims to provide young people in Jerusalem with an opportunity to learn about themselves, boost their self-esteem and improve their future prospects. It also involves a marketing study to increase the school’s capacity to generate income. Furthermore, existing organisational policies and procedures will be revised to enable the school to grow and extend its reach locally and internationally.
