Supporting the culture of play

This project aims to promote playing among children and teenagers as a creative form of expression, a means of learning through experimentation and a tool for developing crucial life skills. Through play, disadvantaged children and community educators will develop stories, songs and games about their home towns and region. The project will be implemented in nine geographical areas, so that Egypt’s diverse cultures and traditions will all be represented.
An interactive digital platform will host all the content generated through this community engagement. Community educators are taught how to use the platform and incorporate the materials and tools developed in their daily interactions with children across the country.
