Ta’alam – Vocational counselling and skills development for young adults

25,000 young people and young adults from disadvantaged communities have access to the newly developed online platform Ta’alam. There, they can receive high-quality information in Arabic about how to choose an occupation, skills development and careers. The e-learning content is communicated interactively, so that users can use the platform to independently develop their skills and knowledge.
In addition, around 5,000 young people have the opportunity to benefit from customised online career counselling. With these services, the project is making an important contribution towards combating youth unemployment in Jordan by highlighting career opportunities for young people and young adults, and, for the first time, by providing young people in remote regions with broad access to information and training.
The partner is working closely alongside regional educational institutions and employers to organise training and vocational fairs for young jobseekers.
