The Journey to Resilience

The journey to resilience improves the economic situation of 500 families (approximately 2’500 individuals) in rural areas of Aswan, by enhancing their skills, facilitating their access to finance, and capacitating them on good and smart agricultural practices in poultry and palm dates value chains. Young female and male farmers are supported to advance their economic opportunities along these value chains by setting up their own microbusinesses (300) that are funded through Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA). To this extent, ASDF reinforces different business partnerships and improves linkages with key stakeholders from the private sector, public entities, civil society organisations and academia.
