Wörk & more

The wörk & more project supports young adults between the ages of 20 and 30 who have not yet completed upper secondary education and have not yet found sustainable access to the labour market. wörk & more is a follow-up project to Wörking, which created easy access for all people who want or need to work on an hourly basis by establishing fair temporary work. In wörk & more, young people have access to further modular building blocks (more) in addition to wage work (wörk), such as social integration in the Wörking community and the promotion of future skills through creative activities. By combining social integration, easy access to work and cultural education, the project pursues a holistic approach that focuses on young people’s individual circumstances and can be flexibly adapted to their needs. The aim is to strengthen their intrinsic motivation and gain professional perspectives. In many work integration programmes, participants are assigned by social insurance funds. In contrast, wörk & more deliberately refrains from this – both temporary employment at wörking and wörk & more are based on voluntary participation.
