Who Made My Clothes?

A readymade garments workshop gives new employment opportunities for released female prisoners. A new production line for children and adults’ summer and lounge wear collection clothes goes to scale with the New Life (NL) brand. The workshop offers decent employment for 45 women who were imprisoned due to minor debt. The workshop generates income to cover its operations and provides professional training services for further self- development opportunities. The leading local partner, Children of Female Prisoners Association, coordinate the National Alliance for the Legal Protection of Women, a network of civil society organizations to induce a more conducive regulatory environment towards prisoners of minor debt.
